  • The Overview

Deily (now named OnFaith) is the first online platform where you can find all of the world's religious information, and the organizations dedicated to the understanding of it in one place.

More importantly, they believe in helping others through learning and teaching by analyzing, discussing and sharing experiences and the many possibilities of such through religion. I assisted in the recreation of the site and visual materials (such as print mediums and branding composites) that helped in breathing new life into the pre-existing structure.

  • The Challenge

The challenges internally were in trying to simplify particular sections of the site and its components that would improve and engage new and existing users. Like most social networking sites, primary focuses can range from user posts and news based on certain topics of interest to having the ability to converse or debate with others who share similar interests.

Marketing was a uber-critical topic that needed to be addressed, so the introduction of Deily Donates (Referral Program) was added in spreading the word about the site.

  • The Process

Within the basis of our team, we restructured the site with a design-centered, mobile-first approach (utilizing HTML5, CSS, Angular JS, and Trello) while creating a responsive experience that improved the existing information architecture.

Primary tasks beyond the site itself includes: designing and developing marketing and admin emails, advertising banners and print-related materials, UI elements and interactions, the A.D.: The Bible Continues mini site (based on the NBC show of the same name), the Deily Donates Referral Program, and Direct to Deily donations.

  • Creating the Logo

The logo’s design was preexisting with the brand, though we altered it slightly from the original to simplify its legibility.

While the color palette was also a preexisting swatch with the brand, I assisted in using various shades and colors throughout the site and branding materials (when needed).

  • The Results

Since the restructuring, Deily’s registered and active users increased by triple, which also helped in broadening their social networking subscribers and increasing revenue. They have (as of Sept. 2016) partnered and merged with OnFaith to become an even stronger platform for all thing s faith and spirituality.
