  • The Overview

007 Rogue: The Game is a mobile gaming design proposal and/or business plan composed/designed during my time at The Art Institute of Austin. What consisted in weeks of intensive research (via film & video game websites, trends, concept art, etc.), planning and brainstorming would soon become a third-person espionage mobile action/adventure game which players create and control their own renegade Secret Service Agent.

Through stealth, mission completion, and stylized gameplay, gamers finally become the agent they have always wanted to be, while having the option to destroy what they helped create.

  • The Challenge

Designing a site with so many intricate sections (the first of many) was a challenging endeavor. By way of this site, it helped regards to planning, prototyping and testing various portions of the site with colleagues. After numerous iterations, it all made sense.

  • The Process

By researching and gaining inspiration from various gaming websites and blogs (more specifically, the James Bond video games and websites), I created the site as a business proposal via PDF format first (for the class assignment), then expanded that into a fully interactive website.

Which was once a one-page site needed to be split into multiple pages due to the vast information included during the process.

  • Creating the Logo

I needed to make sure the branding maintained the aesthetics of the James Bond trademark, so I didn't change much regarding the logo and typeface. Though, the design of the site and its components differ greatly from many of the '007 websites existing.

Color Palette

Considering that the general color palette for most of the movies and games (in essence) contain various shades of gold, I incorporated it into the design. I also went with a darker color scheme for the website to differ from the existing sites.

  • The Results

Every portion of the proposal brought about new ideas and different tactics that are continually being formulated, which may become reality if successfully pitched and created with all if not most of the genuine 007 essence included.
